Gerard has spent a fair bit of time in his oil paintings focussing on figures in contemporary clothing, based in his home city of Glasgow.

Paintings like 'Ordinary Angel' and 'The Deposition' tap in to the Zeitgeist of modern day life by retailing stories from classical antiquity and the Bible in a completely new way.

This is the first venture into three dimensions for this theme.

Cast in bronze and measuring 30cm in height, the sculpture is supplied in a limited edition of 12 with a certificate of authenticity signed and numbered by the artist.
